  • Prime Vatican location — A short walk to both St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums, on a quiet street that's still close to buses, a tram, cafes, and a taxi rank.
  • Spacious and well-equipped — At 121 m² with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen, the apartment suits families, and comes with air conditioning, heating, a washing machine, and a stocked fridge on arrival.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Limited check-in window — Check-in is only between 14:00 and 20:00, which may be restrictive for late arrivals.
  • Fourth-floor access via lift — The apartment is on the 4th floor; while a lift is present, guests with mobility concerns might still find it a factor.
  • Street-level activity — The apartment sits above a cafe, and while many guests love the convenience, light sleepers might notice some ground-floor bustle during the day.
  • No on-site breakfast (except vouchers) — Breakfast isn't included, though guests have received vouchers for a nearby cafe and a stocked fridge — so it's best to plan for meals.

“The rooms are reasonably large and the location is perfect, right by the cafe downstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bathroom had a shower, hairdryers, and a bidet.”

“Our stay was amazing. Rosa explained everything and gave us a glimpse into how a traditional middle-class Roman family lives — fascinating for my American kids. She catered to our needs and even gave us postcards as a keepsake. The apartment had comfortable beds, plenty of linens, a stocked fridge and pantry, and a breathtaking view of the Vatican. Rossana, the owner, also gave great tourism advice and arranged transport. No complaints at all.”

9.3Verified guest

“A lovely stay in Rome, close to a nice square, buses, and the tram. The bed was comfortable with hypo-allergenic pillows, and there was a bidet. Quiet atmosphere, personable staff, and a magnificent location near the Vatican.”

9.3Verified guest

“Great value for money in a lovely old-world apartment with beautiful views. Fantastic location, a short walk from St. Peter's Square, and the staff, especially Rosanna, were excellent and very helpful.”

9.3Verified guest

“Absolutely mind-blowing. Rosa was super helpful, explained everything, and made it special for my American kids. She addressed any issues quickly and gave us Vatican postcards. The building is a beautiful monument with a unique view of St. Peter's. The apartment is typically Italian, spacious for our family of five, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen. We didn't need the kitchen because of the nearby restaurants. Location is excellent, a short walk to St. Peter's and the Vatican Museums. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe at night. The lift, hot water, and air conditioning for heating were all fine. A taxi rank, cafes, and buses are nearby. Rossana provided free knowledge of transport and sights. The apartment was clean with an amazing view, stocked with snacks and vouchers for coffee at the cafe below. She even surprised us with tiramisu for our son's birthday. A wonderful 6-night stay.”

9.3Verified guest

“We celebrated my mom's 80th birthday and Rosanna made it extra special. The spacious, well-equipped apartment felt like home. She provided plenty of breakfast food and valuable information. The views of St. Peter's Basilica from all windows were breathtaking. Her hospitality and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable.”
